tantc 0 Report post Posted May 2, 2015 that's really cheap... but sticking it vertical on the wall... would it stick well ?maybe you can try it out before going big bang...I got someone to do a feature wall using nippon momento paint... pretty expensive... but nice .... originally wanted to do wall paper but didn't feel it would last... sherwinsm 1 Report post Posted May 5, 2015 you can use laminate flooring as feature wall. thats what i intended to use. its comparable to price of vinyl flooring but with a wide range of designs as well.
airbbb 0 Report post Posted May 5, 2015 Where are you getting your laminate? How will you join the sheets for seamless look?
sherwinsm 1 Report post Posted May 6, 2015 laminates using click-lock to join, shouldn't be a problem on the connection.there are many suppliers of laminate floors. you can try supreme or evorich.
airbbb 0 Report post Posted May 6, 2015 What if the feature wall protrudes out? How to end the edges?
airbbb 0 Report post Posted May 6, 2015 I imagine one would use construction adhesive to glue them to wall and an electric nail gun to nail the edge at 45 degrees angle. I still can't think of a solution to finish the edges as the sides of the edges will be exposed due to right angle wall
