Hi kenoro,

I like your lighting.

Do you mind share your electrical guy?

Thanks.

Hi yenyen2015,

The electrical guy was hired by Nick. I did not engage them directly.

The door arm helps to keep the door open at a pre-configured angle, so that you don't need to use any separate door stopper. And yes, it also helps to ensure that the door won't hit the cabinet since you can't open it beyond that pre-configured angle.

Does uni-arm unit inclusive of handle + rectangular box attached at door?

It's only the handle + installation. The box is the existing one by HDB.

Reno - Curtains

A house is not a home without...curtains. Time for curtains! We wanted to do day & night curtains for all rooms (living + 3 bedrooms)

We contacted a few vendors:

  • MGL Curtains
  • JimmyTextiles
  • Exquisite Rosewood Cushion Mfg Centre
  • Ricky (recommended by ID)
  • Vincent (very popular in Renotalk community)

In the end, we decided to go with Vincent. It was a no brainer decision really, after comparing his quote and others'. Of course at that point of time we could not verify the quality of his work, but you gotta trust the Renotalk community, don't you :bleah:

And indeed, his price, workmanship, and service are superb! :good: He showed his care for our little home: laying old curtains on the floor and sofa for protection, using a dust collector to make sure there is minimum dust when he drills the wall. He is also a cheerful guy. Thumbs up! :good:

Hi future neighbor (from WWT2), can you share the contact of your ID and contact of Vincent.

If possible your total price of renovation quoted by Nick and your quotation soft copy.

Many Thanks.

Hi, can you share how you overcome the problem of the aircon ledge in MBR? From pix, your LShaped wardrobe seemed to be built in front of it, blocking access. How many ft is your wardrobe?

Yes, the LShape wardrobe is built in front of it, but it does not block access when you need it. The clothes hanging rod is removable, so when you need to maintain your aircon you will just need to remove the clothes and the rod. The LShape wardrobe is 12ft. Hope it helps!
