If you are lucky to get a balance flat, then earliest would be 35.

Sorry, need clarification on your last statement. MOP is calculated from the date when we collect keys right? And we can apply for another new flat after we have completed the MOP of 5 years right?

From what I understood from the HDB officer at my 2nd appointment (last December), I can apply for a new flat now. As long as the TOP date for that new flat is 5 years after my key collection date. :)

oic. but is my understanding of the MOP correct? 5 years will start from the date when we collect keys.

Also suddenly thought of this. for those who had applied new BTO, we need to pay additional 15k because of the single scheme right?

Yep. For BTO, the 5 years starts from your key collection date. For resale, it's from your 2nd appointment date (when the sellers hand over the keys) or if you have agreed to an extension, then from the date the extension ends...

How come need to pay extra 15k? (o_O) Not government give you extra 15k grant?

Hmm... Maybe it's a BTO thing... Wait for input from the others who got BTOs.

When I bought mine, I was actually eligible for a 10k grant from HDB which I didn't take up cuz I'd have to pay it back when I sell my current place and wouldn't be eligible for anymore HDB grants should I get a new place in the future.

Initially I thought I can take the 1st timer grant of $15k to offset with the additional $15k payable for single. Later then know than I am not eligible for grant at all and still have to pay additional $15k... That makes my cost of the unit to $139.6k.

Come across 2 interesting posts on Youtube.

In the first post at 0:42, the shower is set up at the bathroom corner next to the kitchen entrance. With this configuration, it's easier to set up a shower kerb and screen.

The second post offers some practical tips for BTOers.

Very nice, varying! :D

Curious... Why a 38cm deep wardrobe?

Also, I don't recall seeing a wall between your front door and TV console previously - thought can see straight from front door to living room window (or am I wrong...) - dya have a partition wall build? :)

Oh, hang on... Upon closer look, is that a full height cabinet you have there?

I think that is a full height cabinet. I am planning to build something like that too but may / may not be full height. This is to block the view from main door.

What is the standard width of a wardrobe?

I need to go back pages to see your floor plan again.

Varying, please show us more photos. :D
