ekii 0 Report post Posted April 16, 2015 (edited) I need help. I have moved in to my new flat in Jan this year. My water pressure was just merely average. But since bsc has come over n check my taps and shower head back in Jan, they say all was normal and there is nothing they can do since that was the maximum. They even blamed my water heater for the low water pressure. I am using instant heater, 707 compact btw. So for months I actually endured this low water pressure as it was my first time on the top floor, bathing was such a chore and slow as i have to bathe under such low pressure. Bathing my son was worst, as the pressure was low, my water heater tend to over heat, i will need use and fill up a tub or pail to bathe my 1 yr old, feels like the oldern timesLast week things somehow took a turn, my house water pressure became so bad, both toilet and kitchen sink. I was rather pissed so I call town council and within 1 day they got back to me and told me they check the water tank and that it was an internal issue and told me i need proceed to bsc as its still under their care, bsc will need to send someone to the water tank to fix the problem. It bothers me to have them telling me back then, it was my tap or heater problem because I myself live here for 4 months so I myself will know if it was my tap or not.. And on the same day, they somehow did some maintenance on the water tank, and...guess what... my toilet water pressure, sink tap, bidet, flush and my instant water had the best water pressure I have encounter during my 4 months in my new home, which I then felt cheated and really angry wity bsc saying it was my instant water heater fault back then and that my water heater was too small. (everyone noes the reliability of 707)so everything became good but my kitchen sink became the worst, beforenowhttp://i61.tinypic.com/2gxl9fq.jpg/IMG]its been 1 week.. washing dishes, and refilling kettle with pressure that low.My valve for the main is set to highest and even the bottom kitchen sink too. Husband has open the pipe but nothing is in the pipes or tap.During the 4 months, theres are day where water is low and we will have to clean our tap filter as there were stones and debris, before that when bsc came and saw those debris, it was funny how they say it was hdb fault for that. And now knowing its all under bsc at the moment. They have send people in n out yet all blame my tap when u can see that its not my tap problem..or pipe as before it got worst, it was better. Has anyone encounter this problem? I really pissed each time i use the kitchen sink to cook or clean dishes. I cant even wash my sink properly with that super low pressure. All water saving filters has been removed since day 1. My washer use to die on me coz of the low water pressure and took 1 hr just to fill up, i am not kidding or exaggerating here, now my washer has one of the best water since they did something to their water tank. toilet great. but my kitchen sink..any idea wads the problem or anyone who encounter this. pls help. thank u very much. god bless. w7_lee 11 Report post Posted April 16, 2015 At some point in writing your article, I think you got too agitated. In summary, at the present, you have good water pressure through out your home except your kitchen sink.So the problem might really be your kitchen tap. Try a new tap... a cheap one from a neighborhood hardware shop will probably cost $60 and buy those with lesser water saving ticks. You can also check your piping. At my home, my main incoming pipe goes straight to my toilet but somewhere along the route, it T off to the kitchen. Make sure there is no valve along the pipe going to your kitchen sink (besides the one below the sink).
