dean 5 Report post Posted April 8, 2015 Can anyone recommend me a reliable plumber, to clear choke sink. How much will it cost?
benetay 14 Report post Posted April 8, 2015 Can consider doing it yourself by opening the trap below or use a plunger to clear the airway. What I normally do is simply remove the pipe underneath the sink and let the water flow and remove the dirt. Simple 3-5 mins job unless your piping is different and more complex. w7_lee 11 Report post Posted April 9, 2015 If you do not dispose solid stuff into the sink, then it's probably due to build up of grease (for kitchen sink), then go to normal supermarket to buy drain declogger (drain opener). It's a liquid solution, just pour into the sink, let it sit for a while and then flush with water. Some people recommend DIY declogger using baking soda and vinegar. If you dispose solid stuff down the sink, benetay's recommendation is correct.
