I am a first time buyer and very blur when it comes to renovation. I am not even sure where to start from.

So how do I start? Visit some IDs first or make a list of what i want first?

Would appreciate some advice

i would say, list out your needs and wants first before going to the ID. this will at least let you be prepared what u want, what is practical, rather than letting IDs decide for u.
