Layout PlanTypical 4room layout with the need to include an altar cabinet in the living.Concept This time we will be using actual bricks and concrete looking laminate to create a more urban rustic feel for the house. intonewlife 2 Report post Posted March 12, 2015 I like the way protective sheets r being used. My carpenter didn't use the protective sheet n damaged my floor. The id also didnt lay it. Junlong 2 Report post Posted March 14, 2015 For the entrance area, we have changed the brick wall to hollow block wall instead as it was not approve under HDB regulation. For the wall finishing we will be trying to do a thin plaster to retain the grout line pattern.Construction of the wall.Skim coat plastering.As the skim coat dries out, the grout will become more obvious and the wall colour will be in a lighter shade.Stay tune for more next week.
