krust 0 Report post Posted February 2, 2015 Dear all,For those older HDBs, there is a metal ventilation panes above each room door frame. Recently I've installed air-con in the room, but the air-con seems to be escaping from the room due to the ventilation panes. Is there anything I can buy or fix up myself to block this ventilation panes?TIA
w7_lee 11 Report post Posted February 3, 2015 Cheap & easy way is to buy mahjong paper (or cardboard or any paper with design) & double side tape to cover up the panes. For mine, we got a Perspex shop to cut to size a piece of Perspex and install over the panes. A little bit more $ and more work for the installation.

leecampos 0 Report post Posted March 25, 2015 We have added cellular shades on our wibdow panes. These cellular shades are made from glue fiber which holds the cold air and allows the light to pass through. Just hang these shades along the top edge of your window panes.Check more at ventis reviews
