xinyi_reiko 0 Report post Posted March 29, 2007 Hi.. how was this done? Is colour consultant = ID?? Sorry if sound stupid but was cracking my head on my colour selection and can only visualise and hope for the best.. Thinking of going for safe clour in case of getting a heart attack..Nowadays nippon and ICI have this specialist called colour consultant. Pay them and they will send someone down to take a look at your house, ask you what kind of theme are you going for. Then they will discuss the colours with you. After first round of selection of colours, they will take pictures of your house. Transfer it to their laptop (they will do it on the spot). Apply the colour scheme that you have selected on the pictures using a software. It will takes around 30 mins. After that they will show you the pictures like what I have posted. If you don't the colours just highlight to them. As for me, my consultation is paid & arranged by mine contractor. Some useful links for you.http://www.nipponpaint.com.sg/Colour_Schem...nsult/terms.htmhttp://www.dulux.com.sg/flash/home.html

I choose ICI because the colors are more, Nippon don't have the color I like...The colours choose by the consultant cannot find in nippon paint. I will just stick with ICI then. xinyi_reiko 0 Report post Posted April 1, 2007 Some minor updates.Wanted to paint the HHS something like the picture above. But the colour consultant says not advisable. Because the paint used for HHS's door and normal walls are different. If use normal wall paints to paint HHS over, sooner or later the paint will come off. He also said cannot depend on those pictures seen on magazines.I guess I have no choice but to leave it. Going off now to my new house. Today will start "Dong Tu". !! xinyi_reiko 0 Report post Posted April 1, 2007 Thanks Homeowner. !! When I reach my new house, my slippers broke. So suay. !! Heng that previous owner left us a pair of bathroom slippers. No choice have to wear it. Until everything is over, then went to BPP to buy a new pair of slippers.Had a short dong tu ceremony. A little disappointed that my contractor Patrick did not come today, only his 3 workers came. Anyway, the workers destory abit of the platform, to show that renovation has started.Good news is that the platform is glued to the floor instead of planting nails in order to make the platform stable. Previously, Ah Keong and Patrick were telling me, if the platform is planted by nails, the tiles will need to change. !! This is what they have done to the platform. At the same time, I noticed some stains on common toilet bi-fold door, left by previous owner. I wonder how to remove the stains. And noticed something interesting at the common rubbish chute. The lock to the common tap was not lock. My hubby said that he notice it last week. Which means free water! haha.. !! But later in the afternoon, we drop by and realised was being locked back. More updates coming soon.. Bathing time.. !! xinyi_reiko 0 Report post Posted April 1, 2007 Thanks Ben3555 !! More updates. Also met up with the curtains maker (not sure if this is the correct term) this afternoon. She is my mum's friend, my house curtains were done by her. Hopefully is not too expensive. She said will give us the quotation when we go down to her shop to choose the fabric. She just plainly came to take measurements and gave some advice to us.We wanted roller blinds for 2 bedrooms, but she said not advisable. If roller blinds spoilt have to change the entire thing. She also say it will be cheaper if we choose curtains to blinds. And advised by her, have a full length curtains is better than half length ones, else take half length roman blinds. Will be meeting up with her in this coming wkends. We shall see how it goes. !! Tomorrow will be meeting up with Ah keong, to confirm the design on our custom make TV console. Don'y expect much, will be just a simple design. keke.. !! !!
