Buying A Mattress

I am creating this thread because there are so many major brands of mattresses available in Singapore, there is no need for consumers to hunt down little known brands and risk their hard earned money just to save a few hundred dollars.

I refer to the ongoing saga with Bez Mattress Gallery.

In addition to the top US brands there are also many other reputable brands in Singapore.

While it is true that top brands charge more, some mid-range brands are still very affordable.

I understand that everyone has a budget but there is always a limit as to how cheap a manufacturer can produce a mattress without compromising quality. In my opinion, any pocketed spring mattress below $800 is just not worth buying because it is not possible.

If you have a small budget just buy a standard bonnell spring mattress, there have been around a hundred years.

So happy shopping but really stay away from well known brands. They are well known for a reason.
