Is It A Must To Paint New Bto Flat?

Gotten my key for BTO, and been sourcing for ID/contractor. Seems like all the reno package includes painting of the wall.

Is it a must to paint the wall? And if I really need to paint it, which kind of paint would be good?

If new BTO when they do light fixture, relocation of power point they need to putty up the hole the cut in the wall. Thats why need to repaint. False ceiling also need to paint to make it smooth.

Don't know which paint good though hahah.

Thanks. But i thought people always paint the whole flat, instead of touching up on the new holes. And the quote are always 1k plus for the whole flat. If it is touching up then i don't think will be so ex.

And that means painting is probably done towards the end of the renovation?

Yeah. Sorry.. what I meant was they would repaint the whole unit. I have never heard of anyone doing touch up only..

My painting was done before the carpentry, and touched up after the carpentry.
