Finally it is time for me to write my very first reno T-Blog, had been reading T-blog for like near 1 year, and had been patiently waiting for the time for my key collection so I can start on my T-blog soon.As per tradition, here is my 5 room Floor plan, got my keys on 3rd Jan, my reno (hacking first) will be starting on 2nd Feb. Now is the rectification period with the BSC folks. Already 2nd round, hopefully coming week can clear all the defects. I guess it's pretty standard layout for most of the BTOs, below is the HDB suggested layout. And this is my 2D layout, this is not the latest, there are some changes, yet to get the updated layout plan from my ID.Because this layout plan was done before i got the keys, so after getting the keys, realize that there may be some space constraint, so waiting for the latest copy. Had confirmed my ID on August, with the the hope that i can get keys on 4th Q 2014 despite that HDB states that my estimated key collection would be on 1st Q 2015. I basically send my request for quote requests to those reno website like; www.renotalk.com.sgwww.renotalk.comwww.ilovehome.sgEach of these website had about 3 - 4 ID called me, plus some I called due to good reviews or friend intro, I think i had a total of 16 ID. As my job is out on the road most of the time, so i am able to meet up and discuss with them.So for those who do not know which ID to look for, can just pop a request to those reno website, and i'm sure many ID will call you to arrange a discussion. I don't think i want to list down my experience with each ID, the reason i chose this ID is mainly because she is one of the cheaper quote, and more experienced compared to the others. Since I had met with so many IDs, so i think more or less, i have some knowledge on some renovation stuff, i even had met up with some inexperienced ID which i think i may know more than them. Before I have got my keys, I had already bought some of the stuff.Serta mattressL-shape sofa - After getting keys, found out that the sofa seems to be a bit too long. But my "SHE".F.O really like it. So hopefully won't be too out of the way. Dining Table - I quite like this dining table, but my ID saw it and she says not really match the color theme. So my "SHE".F.O decided to change it. I would love to see how your MBR turns out with the WIW as I am also having similar idea for my future MBR. Changing your entrance of your kitchen is a lot more efficient than the original design! Thanks a lot!Hi Suikoden, Yes, it can put cups. And can open up to store stuff, there is a USB charger in there too.. I got it from Expo show from Novena, they say is Expo price @ $2400 for full leather, but only with this side and color. Cannot choose. Last i seen they still has it in Defu lane and Sungei Kaduk. And forgot to mention, it is electric recliner at the right side. Nice! Definitely will be following your blog! Hope does not requires PE.Kitchen hack till clean clean. Debris removed ready for tiling after the wall is hacked. My ID had not given me the full sets, only partial. hopefully by next week she can provide me with the rest of the 3D pictures. There have been a change of the layout after viewing the actual size of the flat. The Color laminate not really what i want, have to change. Will update it once all are finalized. HansamuQ 5 Report post Posted March 3, 2015 Happy new year to all!It has been a while since i'm updating due to waiting for the hacking permit and CNY.The wall hacking permit was only approved just before CNY, so have to wait till last week before any job are carry out. So, last week my kitchen wall was hacked, at first my ID still worry that the wall needs to hack full because of the support, but lucky, i can hack half wall despite that the left and right support are also being hacked. You can see below that the right side of the wall which is the old entrance is hacked away, and the new entrance will be opened on the left. So left with this wall standing in the middle. And just yesterday, the electrical wiring was done, not all though cause i yet to buy the audio surround speakers, so they will continue the cables on coming thursday. For overlay, usually only toilet and kitchen they can plaster the cement.
