ene 1 Report post Posted June 11, 2008 huh! i thot if during purchase, its listed that u entitle for free gift, then Morris has no rights to argue. pricing is only between u and dealer, right? they have no say, even if dealer sell u at a price of 1 dollar. Yes, that's what I thought as well! I.e. if I bought from Harvey Norman and during the purchase, was informed that I WILL get $500 Robinson's voucher as well as the sound system, I would EXPECT this to be given to me. Default answer was given no stock and need to wait 2-3 weeks and will sms when its avail. huh? I also sent an email to Samsung about this matter. I traded in the free gifts when I ordered my Samsung LCD TV and get the TV at $350 lower than the quoted price. The good thing is we dun have to worry about the redemption. Yup, I choose Samsung because there is a free Home Theater. same thing happened to me bot 2 LCD at comtex 31/stAUg ... called Morris and given a queue number.. was told 2 weeks stocks should arrive. no sound from them so i called again today was told another 3 weeks to wait! Now on waiting list...zzz...the wait is killing me. Home is done up...now just waiting for HTS to come in. Any1 can confirm does Morris actually call us back to tell us when the stock arrives or do we need to be proactive? Any tips or complaint channel? Anyone knows if Morris REALLY running out of stock for TX715? I have been calling them to ask if there is stock. I am trying to redeem the "free" gift but no stock so far.. How long do u need to queue? we were there early (they open at 1200 & we reached ard 1150) and there were already about 10 over ppl Q-ing outside, waiting for Morris to open. all in all, it took us less than 30mins to get the system. but Q starts to get longer after we left. just to note, the box is rather big and heavy. cant fit into our car boot even its empty. so be prepared. tea 0 Report post Posted October 8, 2008 what we did was to call them and get a queue # to reserve the set when it comes in. We received an sms when the stock was in and went down to collect.
