Sharing Of Experiences With Ids

To all home-owners looking for IDs,

Here are a couple of IDs amongst many we visited which left us with some bad taste in the mouth. in both cases, we were walk-in customers.

1. Living Gaia Interior

- First impression was very good as the young designer was very enthusiatic in hosting us. Unfortunately, anything after the meeting was just a big disappointment.

- The promise to send the quotation within 2 weeks never came

- The promise to arrange to view his current project also never came

- We even texted him to confirm the viewing the next day, which he read the message, but choose not to respond

* Thereafter, nothing heard from the young designer anymore.

We are not hard up for their service and with such service attitude, i don't think we will be happy to work with them anymore

2. Chew Interior Design

- Fist impression was already not that great. The seemingly experienced-looking man doesn't look too excited in meeting and talking to us

- During the discussion with our floor plan, he did not even take down any notes or draw anythign on the floor plan to indicate he understand what we wanted. With that, we were wondering how on earth is he going to remember all those we wanted and provide us with a quotation thereafter?

* Conclusion, he wasn't even interested in serving us and even plan to send us any quotations at all. Obviously, the quotation never came even with the promise of sending it over in 2 weeks.

Having shared these not so pleasant ones, i'm also rather pleased and impressed with one ID we met - Rezt & Relax

1. Rezt & Relax (again we were walk-in customers)

- First impression was not too bad as the young gentleman took time to go through our floor plans etc

- Brought us to his other showroom as well

- What was more of a pleasant surprise was that in most IDs we met, most would say they will take about 2weeks to come back with the quotation. So when he said he was relatively busy and the quotation might take a while., we were also expecting 2 weeks thereabouts. To our surprise, he said 3 days. And of course, he delivered his quotation to us in exactly 3 days! I'm impressed with such people who honour their word!

Hope all new home owners in search of IDs will have positive experiences. Would also appreciate if you met with any unpleasant IDs, to also share so the rest of wary too.

Congratulations. I am currently renovating under Living Gaia and it has been very unpleasant. What you said there is true -- anything after the first engagement is a big disaapointment.

We started off well and then it slowly went downhill from there. right now I am in the middle of renovation. for 3 weeks, there has been minimal work. there has been weekdays where there was no work at all. We went from 1 month to 2 month and a week (hopefully, if the ID honors her word which seems unlikely but we will see)

I'll write a blog post soon. I've highlighted my concerns to Living Gaia management if we can work on a common ground.

Wow, I'd always thought Living Gaia was promising. I've been meeting up with IDs the past few weeks too. Met some good and bad. (I've shared my experiences on thisbtotrendmustdie.wordpress.com.) Hope Rezt and Relax lives up to your expectations from here on.
