They say for colours let the women do the choosing and i see that it is right.Yea it was great coordination between us and the ID. It helps when all of us have the 'visual look' in our head so when the laminates are chosen, its pretty much a breeze! Though some colors were OOS i still think it looks great!Everything looks good! Looks pretty to me too. Lovely. Yea! I'm a male and thought pastel if mixed well should be soothing to the eyes and a relaxing home for us.Haha..when our carpentry is up..we also worry quite abit on the colors matching together with our furniture..luckily all turn out well..I am sure yours will turn out well too...looking forward to it...Hahaha, fingers crossed it'll be fine!
Takaishi 44 Report post Posted January 5, 2015 (edited) Final update before "Bai Jia Le". So, this weekend will be full delivery of all furniture and electrical appliances. Washing will be completed by end this week and rest of the carpentary, electrical works will be done by then. Adjustments will be adjusted and we are ready to rock and roll. Before that, shall provide some minor updates -----Rainshower fixed. Rainshower bought from Heritage. Asked for the one with the LEAST water saving feature (for obvious reasons), turn out that the pressure is quite good for me, pending the storage heater link up.And so, our door is painted white and am LOVINGGGGGGGGGGGGGG the feel of it. Hopefully it'll stay clean for a long time to come =/You can see here the contrast with the divider wall, which have the partition added in now Now imagine some pink splashes on the divider and you'll get that theme in your head the moment you put your first step through our door!Moving on to the kitchen, this kitchen tap is also from Heritage. Now i know most of you would have told me Taobao is even cheaper, yes i have the taobao links but well when i was at Heritage i thought it'll be good as there's 40% discount, end up around S$50 more expensive so why not! Used it to spray around the sink and it feels gooooooooooooood. And the fintorp rod is up too Another closeup shot. Edited January 5, 2015 by Takaishi
Takaishi 44 Report post Posted January 5, 2015 For those whom are into the "Kohler accessories" in the toilet, i lovedddddddddd the quality all right (as well as the lovely kohler wordings hahaha)And here's the theme, lacking of the asker bottles for tooth brush holders and stuff. IKEA is OOS for the time being, but we have two pierces for MBR, common waiting to be replenish (which we have sourced taobao and bought it off there)
Takaishi 44 Report post Posted January 5, 2015 The "not energy efficient" Joven water heater set up liao but not linked up to the electrical main yet.The sliding windows for the kitchen! Pretty neat and nifty essential item. Prefer this to the 4 panel one, find it a chore for the 4 panels and not as minimalist in terms of style so choice is clear.Last but not least, the blum fixture on our dish drainer! Not fully affixed, but just showing the tracks used. Pretty common blum accessory though.

Carlos 1 Report post Posted January 5, 2015 Hello Takaishi,Awesome looking style and carpentry you have! Can I check whether your ID uses the Blum fixtures for your kitchen carpentry, or that you have to top up and buy your own Blum fixtures?
Takaishi 44 Report post Posted January 6, 2015 Hello Takaishi,Awesome looking style and carpentry you have! Can I check whether your ID uses the Blum fixtures for your kitchen carpentry, or that you have to top up and buy your own Blum fixtures? The only blum fixture that is foc are the drawers... blum runners only and you cant see e blum word. The dish rack is a top up, i think $120-$140 cant recall exactly the price, its top up... Personally i don't feel there's a need, the normal el cheapo china made one also serves its purpose actually, cos the rest of my soft closing hinges serves its purpose!
