PricillaChua 0 Report post Posted November 13, 2014 My sis house installed Ventilation Fan in both toilets. I think the good part is that the toilet drys faster, the smell of #2 will be drawn out from the toilet faster. I noticed that my toilet tends to be quite humid after bathing with warm water. But her toilet don't feel like this. I think that's why most public toilet have the ventilation fan? I will be installing it in my new house as well.

wyx03 12 Report post Posted December 31, 2014 (edited) Show the vent fan that you intended to buy to your contractor and ask how much he charge for installation. Or, ask him how much he will charge if he buy and install at once. I took the lazy path and asked my ID to buy and install, end up paying $250 for each vent fan (I have 1x in each bathroom, and 1x between kitchen and service yard). Each KDK vent fan costs approx $62.06 (http://www.kdk.sg/products/ventilating-fan/residential-use/window-mount.html), so I was paying like $190 for each installation. This is what I have in my bathrooms and kitchen. But, this is what I have wanted. Unfortunately, my ID messed this up... Edited December 31, 2014 by wyx03_2002
