Pest Control For Post Renovated House

Hi

Anyone has good recommendation of a reasonably priced pest control company. I read from this blog (http://www.vincentinteriorblog.com/pest-control-after-renovating-your-home-31/) that it's useful to engage a pest control company to spray the house after you have done renovation and your house would be pest free for 2-3 years.

Has anyone tried doing this before and how effective is it?

Yes it's very effective. I did it twice i.e. when I moved into my previous place with my parents, and then last year when i got my own place. Not many people are aware but it's really good "practice" to have your place fumigated before moving in and your house will be pest free for the next few years. You can try contacting Ladybird Pest Control at 65150744. They are very professional and rates are very reasonable. I actually called a few pest control companies and they quoted me the lowest rates haha.

Thanks for the recommendation. I contacted Ladybird Pest Control to fumigate my place on Saturday and they are indeed very professional and most importantly their charges are very reasonable haha.

It is good to do for old resale flat. If you have just done a renovation then there is no need to. And there is risk that those workers brought pests from other house into your house. Pest control is more needed by landed property to get rid of rats, snakes, spiders etc. My friend has tried a few different companies but all don't work. The pests will return after awhile. Traditional method (e.g. using ants powder) etc. are the cheapest and most effective so far.

Ya. Only cockroaches. Have not seen them since the last round of spraying n killing by my own.

you might want to try professional pest control if the off-the-shelf products you used are not working.

can try ladybird pest control at 65150744. their service is good even though their charges are low.

Ya. Have contacted ladybird. Many small cockroaches found dead after their pest control officer visited my house n place the posion and spray here n there

Yeah, it’s true that after getting the home renovation done, one should use the pest control services. This way your home will be pest free for a long time. When I had my old home renovated I had hired pest control and Termite inspection mid north coast and it’s still safe from pests and termites attack.

Sharing my experience with this pest control company. 

This is a super long overdue review for Stephen from End Times Pest (You can google their facebook page!). It's near Chinese New Year again, and reminded me of my horrible experience with bed bugs last Chinese New Year. 

It was just one week before CNY that I discovered bed bugs in my room. I tried contacting a few pest control company, and luckily got hold of Stephen from End Times Pest who not only agreed to come for an on-site check immediately the next day (it's a weekend), he also explained to me on the phone what he would do if those are confirmed bed bugs, and his price was very reasonable. He was very punctual the next day and patiently explained to us what he was checking/what chemical he would be using and that they are not harmful for human etc. And after he examined and we agreed to have the treatment, he told me and my housemate to wait outside of the house, while he sprayed the insecticides inside the house. He was very thorough and even turned over the furniture to make sure no corner was left out. He assured me that just one-time treatment would be enough from his experience, and that he could come again to check after a week or so. He was correct that one time treatment was enough, and the scary creatures were gone completely.

I would recommend Stephen and End Times Pest to any friends who need pest control service.
