kangeroo168 10 Report post Posted August 17, 2014 (edited) normally very few people will undertake this kind of things.this is because the license contractor will be liable for all the works in your unit, even though the work is not done by him. and in this case, this is call 'borrowing' of the license, and is subjected to fines and demerit points from HDB.example: if your jb tilers did not water proof the floor well, and 2 weeks later, the below unit has a ceiling leak, HDB will call up the contractor and he is liable to fixed back all the leaking. (meaning he has to rehack the floor and redo everything.) HDB will not call up your awesome jb tiler, because the permit is out from the singapore licensed contractor.
