I have been buying stuffs from you guys over the past 6 years, from Kwiksets, Baldwin, Valli & Valli, Gainsbrough,

The initial experience was good, really good, no doubt about it.

Lately, I found some of your stocks were rather old, slightly tarnish and one piece have rust stain at the joint.

Dear Sir,

Thank you for the repeat purchases from us. We endeavour to check and handover all goods in good condition to our customers. If you see any anomalies with the product prior to installation, please inform us and we will make an exchange for the product.

Our products are mainly made of brass, which is an alloy of copper and zinc.The characteristic of brass is that it will tarnish through time. However, brass which is an alloy does not rust.

For all brass products, simple maintenance can enhance the finish to keep it crisp and bright. Clean with a slightly damp cloth and then wipe off with a dry cloth. Please do not allow any paint, thinner, chemicals or household cleaning products(CIF, Brasso, Window cleaner, etc) to come into contact onto the brass product, if so, it will strip and affect the brass and accelerate tarnish, pitting and discolouration.

We do have specially treated brass with PVD (physical vapour deposition), creating a highly resistant surface that can withstand the rigours of time and weather to remain free of tarnish, pitting and discoloration.

You may want to pay us a visit to allow us to further explain this special finish for brass. We hope that this explains your reservations.
