OceanEleven 203 Report post Posted July 21, 2014 Personal opinion. You should wrap around the corner as well. The look will be much much better.Making it more "even" and natural. Aesthetically, will be very pleasing to the eyes. Refering to this: The other side of living room

OceanEleven 203 Report post Posted July 21, 2014 Hi OceanEleven,Yes Foo suggested the same thing. Even his carpenter say so lol. Think the effect will be very nice but due to budget concerns have to forgo the idea I can visualized the finished look.Kinda more of a complete look.Currently on one side only, no doubt is looking fabulous but still lacking the X factor. If cost is not that huge, should really consider. Like wise when I do my brick wall and decided to take the plunge.

Will definitely be one of the to-do things if I embark on phase
northhaven 4 Report post Posted July 26, 2014 (edited) This week has been all about putting the final touches together.Firstly, painted the main door white with black frame. Chose a simple wrought iron gate to go with it. Foo will help create a unit-number plate cos I was too lazy to do it haha. I loved how the white door, customised big mirror and warm lighting create a very inviting feel. Track lights are up! How lighting really changes the look from day to night. A very cosy feel. I can imagine enjoying my evenings here In white light - picture totally not doing justice to here, the white light didn't make the place stark bright but still feel invitingA clean kitchen wall with no unsightly switches visible at eye level. Where are the switches? They are hidden underneath the cabinets No unsightly cabling from OpenNet, all thanks to Foo for coming over to discuss the wiring with the OpenNet people. The termination point now sits discreetly at one end of the living room. Edited July 26, 2014 by northhaven
