Need Carpenter And Handyman Contact

Hi,

Does anyone have a good and cheap/reasonable carpenter that can recommend? Am also looking for handyman/company that provides replacement of balcony glass sliding door rollers and the glass gasket rubber?

Carpenter rates are pretty standard. all Per Foot Run rates, it is all over the newspaper ads, pretty transparent.

A lot of carpenter closed down due to manpower cost, so don't expect to get cheap wood works these days.

You seem to know the faulty parts that needs to be replaced. Just lift up the balcony sliding door and knock out the roller and bring to a hardware shop to look for replacement.

Again, not all rollers are generic, so good luck finding.

As for rubber gasket, it is going to be a bigger job for handyman.

1) remove your sliding door;

2) unscrew the frame;

3) knock out the frame;

4) remove the glass;

5) replace the gasket;

6) put back the glass........blah blah.

To be very frank with you, standing on a businessman point of view, I won't risk myself taking you as a customer, unless the profit is good.

The risk of breaking the glass is far too much.
