we are halfway to complete our 4 room flat renovation.

some of the good stuffs done by the sub-contractor that we absolutely love it.

the kitchen cement walls, done by the tiler. Though it was his first attempt for such request but he did it anyway!

Looking for good contractors? Click here for your request

Great job by your sub-con, especially the second picture!

I asked my contractor to do this with cement too but he wasn't confident...

It is uncommon to find someone who can execute it beautifully.

can you share your tiler / wetworks contractor with me?

My screed floors are damaged because i chipped it by accident - dropped a heavy weight on it... : (

The fear now is how we are able to screed and fix back to the same colour.

your place looks fabulous so i was hoping to get some help from you.

Thanks very much...

hi, it's impossible to re-screed the affected area only. the contractor has to re-do all otherwise the color won't be uniform.
cos we have some uneveness too, the contractor has to redo whole area.

NIce Nice!!! Love the whole look of your house!!

Isn't it hard to so those kind of patterns from cement? Will there be cracked lines if exposed to heat?

Anyway, I found the same wallpaper as your kitchen 'tiles'

http://www.theupperroom.sg/home/86-the-concrete-wall.html

Teehee!

thanks for the compliment. we can live with cracked lines as our current place already showing many visible lines. it will further enhance the rawness of the cement.

Hi Lynn,

GREAT TASTE and great reno inspirations.

My ID gave us something similar... so i am a fan of yours now too!

I do however need to do some new minor work as i have been careless with my floor.

Would you please share your contractor's info?

My kitchen screed flooring needs re-doing.

I just need a contractor who understands screed and my kitchen.

Thanks very much
