loftystew 1 Report post Posted May 16, 2014 Just wondering... Is it possible to lay new floor tiles over existing floor tiles for toilet? Taking note that the flat is more than 10 years, will there be any issues if I were to do that?Is it a normal practise/a must to remove existing floor tiles before laying new ones? kangeroo168 10 Report post Posted May 17, 2014 if more than 10 years, its is quite advisable to hack and lay new tiles as u cannot ensure that the water proofing is as good as 10 years ago.you dont want to lay nice nice tiles, then water proofing break, u have to rehack all the tiles and redo, right?
