Dylanchua 9 Report post Posted May 5, 2014 Way too expensive.. I'm shortlisting my quotes down to 2 IDs and both are giving me $110-$120 per foot for kitchen cabinet. One of them is quite reputable here in the forum too.Solid surface price is always 2 digits only (per foot).. You can get yourself IQuartz or granite with $140 per ft and still have a lot of spare change for beer.
2359 0 Report post Posted May 5, 2014 HiFor kitchen cabinets, trust this equates to $220 - 240 per ft for top/ bottom? For solid surface, the figure is $75 per ft after clarification on the length. Will anyone like to comment on the price of the flooring, thanks

kangeroo168 10 Report post Posted May 13, 2014 yes, flooring is expensive. can recommend u lower price ones.wood skirting---what? wood skirting needs $1,500??? u sure or not???vinyl floor tiles -- yes, its a bit overpriced.. what is the brand?featurewall-- slightly higher, u can maybe shave off $100-$150solid surface-- i find it quite reasonable, only if u are getting the 'shiny/glossy' type, as they tends to be more expensive.glasswork--slightly higher, can shave a bit offthese are all my suggestions. 2359 0 Report post Posted May 13, 2014 Thank you for the suggestion. How much would you recommend the skirting, glasswork, partition and windows to be shaved off?
fsuz 2 Report post Posted May 13, 2014 The painting seems quite expensive too.. you may want to ask your contractor to specify the number of colours allowed and the range you can choose from.. the amount you are paying for for the oil paint on top of the wall paint seems too ex.. Also, i assume you do not need a sealer coat for the wall?
fsuz 2 Report post Posted May 13, 2014 Oh and forgot to add.. for the carpentry, only one drawer or one set of drawers is included in the $230/ft run he quoted you? 1 drawer seems too little and it may mean that he will charge you extra for additional drawers..
