Lim2014 6 Report post Posted April 27, 2014 I am looking to install air-con for 1 bedroom and living room for a resale 3R flat. - easy maintenance- energy savingIt seems like Toshiba (supposedly made in Japan better) and Mitsubishi are the top choices. Any recommendation? The pipe stuff for installation looks complicated. Any advice for new timer to take note of when purchasing the air-con w/o being conned with cheap poor quality installation? aceone10 1 Report post Posted May 15, 2014 You should try go to a few showroom to check it out instead.One thing for sure, those who try to sell to you with special packages. Example standard warranty for parts is 1 to 2 years and they offer your like 4 to 5 years. Better check thoroughly the terms and condition. One of the thing will be the labour charges. Though under warranty, labour charges is payable, give you 10 years warranty also no use cos a problem unit within warranty period will still cost you a bomb.Just my thought Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
