How Do We Handle Delivery Man?

Recommended Posts

What do you do when your items are delivered?

Do you QC on the spot and make the delivery guy wait?

I'd be so pressured.

What if you let them leave and then found some defects eg. scratches or dents on the items?

Are we able to get an exchange?

Usually all you have to do is to be polite and ask to check before they leave. Better to check upon delivery because the delivery order you sign will say it is in good condition.

if you scared of them, they will eat u... u pay for your furniture, and its up to u to perform full check..till then, they will have to wait..do it in gd manners usu u should be ok..if you chin chye check, and find defects after u leave, smelly companies will say its u made the defect, and during check nothing wrong, after they leave then got defect...

u are the paying customer, they are the people making the sales...its that simple.

simple rule of thumb. just treat them like you are the delivery guy.(just imagine you are in their shoe) kindness begets kindness, politeness begets politeness.

if you dun like to meet some arrogant fellow who think he is the king, neither would these common folks who are just like any one of us.

just say nicely everyone would understand.

its actually better for you to QC on the spot so that if there are any issues, it would be easier to rectify since the guys are there. even if they cant rectify on the spot, it will be easier for them to understand what is the issue since they are there.

cheers, small matters dun need to stress yourself,

happy shopping
