lawda 2 Report post Posted May 16, 2014 (edited) Had a hunch that mirror is installed today and decided to pop over after work. Indeed, the mirror at the living room is up! the granite are laid as well on the kitchen cabinet. However, the tap for my kitchen basin was installed wrongly. The design is unique, i believe plumber might be confused with where the valve control should be facing... Glass door @ MBR toilet is installed, basin + tap at common toilet is installed too.Pictures of today 'catch'Glass door at MBR toilethttp://i1372.photobucket.com/albums/ag351/lawda/WP_20140516_0021_zpsb191176c.jpgBasin and tap @ common toilet (pending glass shower screen and top cabinet)http://i1372.photobucket.com/albums/ag351/lawda/WP_20140516_0031_zpsda1aa760.jpgMulti-point instant heater installed (not wired yet)http://i1372.photobucket.com/albums/ag351/lawda/WP_20140516_0041_zps566eec21.jpgMirrors! up at the the living room. lawda 2 Report post Posted May 18, 2014 (edited) All the carpentry are installed in the house this week and have been doing spot checking today. Noticed quite alot of chips and roughness which were highlighted. The supervisor explained that most of these are due to transportation and they will fix the issue asap.I am left with installation of all the accessories, few lightings and touch up to end this blog soon... Will be meeting up curtain installer this coming monday to take measurement and to pop over to PD door office hopefully end of the month to check out door for the kitchen entrance.Pictures to share today:Glass installed at the kitchen wallhttp://i1372.photobucket.com/albums/ag351/lawda/WP_20140518_0511_zps73a083fc.jpgFull height mirror installed at the walk-in wardrobe @ MBRhttp://i1372.photobucket.com/albums/ag351/lawda/WP_20140518_0081_zpsc795e40e.jpgTic tac door and shelving at side of MBR wardrobehttp://i1372.photobucket.com/albums/ag351/lawda/WP_20140518_0061_zpsc308c9ed.jpghttp://i1372.photobucket.com/albums/ag351/lawda/WP_20140518_0071_zps0714ee31.jpgStudy table is finally installed (outstanding switches on the panel)http://i1372.photobucket.com/albums/ag351/lawda/WP_20140518_0461_zps8b68d239.jpg Edited May 18, 2014 by lawda
lawda 2 Report post Posted May 25, 2014 (edited) Went to take a look at my unit today to check if all the toilet accessories are installed. Was initially happy on seeing the 'goodies' that we purchased were installed accordingly to what we have marked out and discussed with the PM but was pissed off when i saw my tower hanger at MBR toilet was installed not to our marking Immediately whatapps my PM and ID on the issue and request to have this fixed without seeing any patches on my wall tiles!Mirror at the Living room was replaced with the brown tint that my ID had initially designed. Look nice.http://i1372.photobucket.com/albums/ag351/lawda/WP_20140525_0091_zps28c0790d.jpgInstallation at Common bathroom (top vanity, toothbrush holder, tower holder, toilet roll holder and glass shelves)http://i1372.photobucket.com/albums/ag351/lawda/WP_20140525_0081_zpse9ef9c6d.jpghttp://i1372.photobucket.com/albums/ag351/lawda/WP_20140525_0061_zps6d25236b.jpg (stainless steel)http://i1372.photobucket.com/albums/ag351/lawda/WP_20140525_0051_zpsbb6809e7.jpghttp://i1372.photobucket.com/albums/ag351/lawda/WP_20140525_0071_zps9079162c.jpgInstallation at MBR bathroom (glass shelves, toothbrush holder, toilet roll holder and bidget spray)http://i1372.photobucket.com/albums/ag351/lawda/WP_20140525_0041_zpse3634416.jpghttp://i1372.photobucket.com/albums/ag351/lawda/WP_20140525_0021_zpsc8bbb4ac.jpghttp://i1372.photobucket.com/albums/ag351/lawda/WP_20140525_0031_zpsc755adfd.jpgThe tower hanger in my MBR that i am pissed off with! I don't understand why some workers do not use their brains, especially since you marked the location. In my case, I always make it a point to stick a masking tape horizontally across the desired location and mark out in block letters: TOWEL RACK HERE.I also have a rack similarly installed just above the top of my glass door. See here. The glass door swings out, but I did it just in case some user swings it in. As a matter of fact, it is now being used swinging in. lawda 2 Report post Posted June 6, 2014 ya, sometimes I think the workers feel that we are naive and not suggesting practical location but the fact is we think abit further....You and I had the same idea.
