harocarlos 14 Report post Posted May 23, 2014 Oh..i'll be using Joven storage heater...not yet installed, it will be partially recessed in the false ceiling and exposed...won't be covered up for replacement sake should it fail in the near future...Hi Harocarlos,Fellow Ancillian here. Looks like your reno is going well! Great looking place. I am curious about what type of heater you use and how you manage to hide it since the outlet/inlets are quite low. Thanks in advance! harocarlos 14 Report post Posted May 26, 2014 (edited) Finally the storage heater is mounted only today... One of the first items I bought, but my contractor waited till the end then mount... This is 35litres.. its huge, it must be mounted on the original HDB ceiling to just barely clear the height of the door.. Tmr then connect the pipes... harocarlos 14 Report post Posted May 26, 2014 Racks bought from Sim Win Liang. Recommended by a friend. They are very light weight, and easily height adjustable, price is very reasonable for the quality. Bought the biggest size that can fit in L-shape configuration. Ordered online and an appointment was made for installation. It was installed in less than 10mins by one guy.
harocarlos 14 Report post Posted May 26, 2014 Hansgrohe thermostatic rainshower from taobao. Good water pressure. Should be a replica but built quality is solid, yet to test the thermostat sensitivity as my heater is not yet up. Toilet accessories all installed by my contractor personally. All bought from taobao.

harocarlos 14 Report post Posted June 11, 2014 (edited) Hi any updates after moving in?Sorry, not much updates as we moved in right after my contractor finished up all the work he can complete and it was rather messy as unpacking is on-going... Only outstanding work left is Kompacplus for my kitchen top, breakfast counter and common bathroom vanity as we chose the "New York Teak" colour and it was out of stock... ETA end June....I was holding back updates until the house completes with our decorative stuffs and kompacplus so we can have a neat final photo shoot for the whole house... but anyway, here's some photos taken by BPS the day before we moved in...All the decorative items in the photos are gifts from BPS. So nice of them... MBR toilet is using "American Walnut" colour Kompacplus, the top was mounted just in the morning before these photos were taken. My contractor came to install the basin and tap afew hrs later just in time for my move the next day.Pending the mirror and glass backing at my study table. It was installed a week later. jarci 2 Report post Posted June 11, 2014 (edited) Painting has completed. The bulk of the colour is in sail white. An urban grey wall in the MBR and a seabreeze blue in the common bedroom wall. The remaining is black door frames/bomb shelter door/pipes in the service yardWifey wanted something really close to tiffany blue, so we got this. Do you think its close to tiffany blue? The urban grey wall in the MBRWe repainted all the original HDB laminated doors to white and black for the bomb shelter door and door frames. Love it! The door to the relocated MBR entrance was accidentally disposed during the hacking work. Contractor will claim a new door from his sub-contractor. The new sliding door to the MBR sleep area will also be painted in white.Hi, is the common bedroom wall colour painted with Nippon seabreeze blue?
