The face plate is usually mounted on top of the tile/marble/brick.

There is no problem drilling a brickwall. Most walls are brick walls anyway.

hi, thank you I got the table from comfort furniture, about $300 on promo.

Was worried that by drilling the whole piece of brick will crack n drop off hahahah
