jt88 0 Report post Posted September 8, 2007 I saw the NA-V80GD at Best Denki VivoCity on Fri. abt $13xx. sure they are still selling this model. in Mar07 price was $1999.The Toshiba TW150VS is abt $2xxx.Saw both at Audio House Liang Court on Sat. Price for Panasonic is higher while Toshiba is lower - dunno why, didnt ask cos dun intend to get from them. But Pansonic is 110L for 8kg load whereas Toshiba is 86L for standard load. Is Toshiba's standard load = full 9kg load?
tingshen 0 Report post Posted September 9, 2007 I have a Bosch washer Maxx Classic 800 RPM (WAE 16060 SG), bought it to replace my Thomson TX728 in Jan this year. it's a 7 Kg Front Load with Green Label – energy and water saving. i went to Courts Megastore in Tampines to check the price, then called Goh Ah Bee to order. It was $100 off right away. They delivered it the very next day. can't find my file, but have my cheque book stub, managed to check how much i paid - $790.Bosch provided a free training session. just call up and they will send a technician down to demonstrate the washing machine features to you. after 7 years using the tiny Thomson, i must say i love the Bosch! can wash more per load, clothes very clean and my utility bills actually reduced eventhough i have more washing to do. no complaints. where can I see this model? not many shops carrying bosch leh, or they just display some small models one.is GAB the cheapest?just curious, what's the purpose of faster RPM? saw some models/brands more than 1600rpm one.... (i am not technical, my explanation may be wrong!) the higher RPM means your clothes come out quite dry but still need to sun dry. i have a dryer also for rainy day use. but usually after spinning on a normal wash, a few hours sun dry is sufficient.my previous Thomson model has a higher RPM but i don't find the clothes coming out that dry. so i believe it also depends on the other machine specs.hth and happy hunting for your washer!cheers! applefreak 1 Report post Posted September 9, 2007 one thing about RPM is the higher it is, the more harsh it's on your clothesme using thomson now, usually stick to 500 and it's dry enough for mejust air it for two hours and it's totally dry liao
