I only saw the model with stainless steel door.. Now it costs $1,099 at Best Denki, care to share which colour is yours (cos din see any photo uploaded) and your comments on using the fridge. Was also looking at Panasonic cos my old fridge (assembled in Thailand) lasted 9 years without problem (gave away due to reno), so have confidence in the brand... Saw one Panasonic model made in Japan $2,099 is the abt same size and design as the Hitachi Solfege.. Nice to have but too ex! So I need review on Hitachi fridge... Thanks! Troublemaker 31 Report post Posted September 16, 2014 My fridge is black in color. I would say, so far so good. When the fridge door (not the pull-out cabinet) is opened for too long, there will be a sound coming from the fridge. If you need to freeze something in a short period of time (ice cream which has melted), you can lower the temp of the freezer and your ice cream will become hard again. The fridge is slim which is a plus too.Overall, i am pretty pleased with my purchase.Maybe you can try Harvey Norman? I got it at $999.

Troublemaker 31 Report post Posted September 25, 2014 Hi Angellim,The 5-bulbs lighting is 40cm from the ceiling and the 3-bulbs lighting is 30cm from the ceiling. You can get the Philips E27 bulbs in Singapore. I have changed the light bulbs to Philips E27 as it is only 14 watts per bulb whereas the bulbs I bought from the same shop as the lighting (taobao) is 40 watts per bulb!Hope this helps. Angellim 1 Report post Posted September 25, 2014 Hi Troublemaker,Thanks for helping and Sorry to trouble u! Need to change another ceiling light as it will definitely hithis head one day when he grows taller.
Troublemaker 31 Report post Posted September 25, 2014 (edited) For the 3-bulbs light, you should be able to adjust the direction of the bulbs to a particular direction, if you get what i mean. I tried different ways of fixing the direction of the 3-bulbs light. My common bedroom light is more "spread out" as compared to the master bedroom. However, if you are getting the 5-bulbs light, then you will not be able to change the direction.Hmm... but with a kid, I guess its much safer to stick to the usual ceiling lights!Hope this helps!
