Bachelorette On Budget

Hi Puggy,

I was also having problems removing the doorviewer with my barehands too! ahahhaa...

You can use the tools below to help you:

Once you grip the doorviewer (back of your door) with the tool, turn it in an anti-clockwise direction. It should loosen up pretty fast!

Hope this tip helps! :)

Anybody uses Panasonic E27 light bulbs before? How is it compared to Philips?

Panasonic costs only $9.90 as compared to Philips $16.90! If both are the same, then i will get panasonic instead! :s

Hi... I was shopping for fridge last weekend and one of model I considered happen to be the same fridge as what you have.. I only saw the model with stainless steel door.. Now it costs $1,099 at Best Denki, care to share which colour is yours (cos din see any photo uploaded) and your comments on using the fridge. Was also looking at Panasonic cos my old fridge (assembled in Thailand) lasted 9 years without problem (gave away due to reno), so have confidence in the brand... Saw one Panasonic model made in Japan $2,099 is the abt same size and design as the Hitachi Solfege.. Nice to have but too ex! So I need review on Hitachi fridge... Thanks!

My fridge is black in color. I would say, so far so good.

When the fridge door (not the pull-out cabinet) is opened for too long, there will be a sound coming from the fridge.

If you need to freeze something in a short period of time (ice cream which has melted), you can lower the temp of the freezer and your ice cream will become hard again.

The fridge is slim which is a plus too.

Overall, i am pretty pleased with my purchase.

Maybe you can try Harvey Norman? I got it at $999. ;)

Hi Angellim,

The 5-bulbs lighting is 40cm from the ceiling and the 3-bulbs lighting is 30cm from the ceiling.

You can get the Philips E27 bulbs in Singapore. I have changed the light bulbs to Philips E27 as it is only 14 watts per bulb whereas the bulbs I bought from the same shop as the lighting (taobao) is 40 watts per bulb!

Hope this helps.

For the 3-bulbs light, you should be able to adjust the direction of the bulbs to a particular direction, if you get what i mean. I tried different ways of fixing the direction of the 3-bulbs light. My common bedroom light is more "spread out" as compared to the master bedroom. However, if you are getting the 5-bulbs light, then you will not be able to change the direction.

Hmm... but with a kid, I guess its much safer to stick to the usual ceiling lights!

Hope this helps! ;)

I have changed the previous bedroom doors to nyatoh solid doors as I found the previous bedroom doors too hollow to my liking!

My nyatoh solid door!

Hi,

Love your nyatoh doors. Did you paint them white or they came in stain white?

I'm doing my kitchen door with nyatoh door, but they only come in wooden colors.
