Troublemaker 31 Report post Posted April 22, 2014 The current bathroom door can open fully and did not knock against any basin or wc. So, i guess its fine. I have bad experience with sliding and bifold doors.I am still looking around for aluminium swing doors. The quote is from $300+ to $400+ per door. I am going to change 2 bathroom doors. Any recommendations?

I have decided to leave it to my contractor as he is charging me a cheaper rate of $450 for 2 doors. I guess he has earned from the hacking of door frame n patching and tiles, so, he can charge me at $450 for 2 doors! I can't lugi like that!
Troublemaker 31 Report post Posted May 4, 2014 Renovation has started! The main renovation is actually my small kitchen since the rest of the house seems ok.This is how my small kitchen looks like: ">http://As I do not like built in cabinets, I bought a franc franc kitchen cabinet to store microwave, toaster, canned food, spices, utensils e.g. plates, cups etc.I have asked the contractor to hack away the stove area and create a smaller cement area on the left for the stove. As for the right side, I will be placing my franc franc kitchen cabinet there. The sink area will still be the same except that I need to shift the whole sink slightly to the left hand side (nearer to the window) so that I have some working space. Troublemaker 31 Report post Posted May 4, 2014 Due to my tiny kitchen, there goes my dream of having a big fridge... Luckily, I managed to find a slim fridge of specifications, 59cm (width) x 181cm (height) x 63cm (depth)! it has a capacity of 365 litres! I plan to place the fridge at the entrance of the kitchen, hence, a slim fridge will not block anybody's way into the kitchen.http://www.hitachiconsumer.com/sg/products_details.aspx?oid=1821

Troublemaker 31 Report post Posted May 12, 2014 My 2 water heaters have been installed over the weekends. I bought 2 different brands. 1 is BeeBest water heater which comes with its own rainshower! Yay!The 2nd water heater is the good old 707 Compact water heater which i think that if BeeBest failed me (I din see many people using this brand and its a msian brand), at least I still have 707 loh...BeeBest Water Heater: ">http://Verdict: Water pressure is good with the rain shower as well as the normal shower head! Actually, i think the normal shower head is much powerful than the rain shower! I guess because BeeBest has a DC pump incorporated inside for the purpose of having a rain shower.707 Compact Water Heater: ">http://>Verdict: What can I say as this is a good old trusted brand. I am using this brand at my current house for at least 10 years liao...Personally, i feel that the Water pressure for BeeBest Rain Shower is the same as 707 compact normal shower head. However, water pressure for BeeBest normal shower head is much stronger than 707 Compact normal shower head.I am glad that I made these purchases!
Troublemaker 31 Report post Posted May 18, 2014 (edited) As I do not want to have built-in cabinet for my kitchen, I bought a kitchen cabinet a few months back.http://renotalk.com/forum/uploads/gallery_59611_304_60107.jpgThe shelves on the left can be pulled out if I am using the oven or boiling some water whereas the shelves on the right are stationary and I can store my utensils or whatsoever.
