razzberrie 3 Report post Posted March 7, 2014 I've yet to collect the keys to my future home -- it's still 2 years away! That being said, I have already designed most of my flat's interior. I have yet to find an answer to whether the circuit breaker/DB box can be relocated in a new BTO flat. My DB box is located in one of the kitchen entrance walls and I wish to knock it down to create an open kitchen. I merely wish to relocate it to the wall adjacent to it after the wall is demolished, so the distance will be very near. Is this even possible? Will HDB allow it? SkimMilk 1 Report post Posted March 10, 2014 DB re-location should be simple. However, I don't think you can touch the OpenNet point. You will need specialized equipment (fiber optic splicer) to join the fiber cables, and OpenNet has to test that the connection is ok before it can be used.
