Hack Or Not Hack?

any one regreted not hacking rooms to extend master bedroom space?

Depends on your floor-plan...how many rooms you really need now and also in the future.

mine is a 5room flat. there are only 2 of us staying now.

Its your personal decision. Not sure whether there will be baby/kids in the future, and maybe parents or parents-in-law may stay short-term to take care of kids. Whether you will have maid in the future?

Have to consider your budget too. You may also be required to put back the wall if you sell the flat, and you have consider that cost.

I guess just think of your future needs and future possible occupants and make a decision based on that.

My new BTO is a 4room flat and we are also thinking of hacking a wall to make space for an open kitchen.

My concern on hacking that wall, is whether my floor tiles will be damaged in the process.

But in my current place (old 4room), my parents hacked away the store room walls and it made the living room area look much bigger! So no regrets there..
