The water filter is something I have been wondering for some time already too.

Or I should just use the traditional method of boiling water. LoL ~

Hyflux is quite an established company and local company which mostly I will lean towards if I am getting one.

Songz...water filter will also get rid most of the chlorine (smell) and also other particulates, this is even more important in old resale flat.

Claypot...nice system you have there. But I have a dog, he will wreck havoc there. So I am only considering to install the simpler type where you just attach to the faucet, now I have to source for a sink that come with simple faucet not those fancy ones, else wont fit. There quite few vendors, like Hyflux, Philips, Osim (oem) and I think I will go with cleansui.

Hey Claypot,

How much was the hyflux water filter?

Just wondering, if we have hot and cold water for kitchen sink, do we put a separate tap for the filtered water instead?

Thanks!

Used a few times, as it's just installed and I've yet to move in. But I can taste the difference between the filtered and unfiltered. Unfiltered has that slight chlorine gap water taste but the filtered water does not. Edited by claypot

Got it at the end of last year when they had Christmas promotion at 15% off. A day after getting my keys. But only had it installed yesterday. It has free installation and the hyflux plumber even asked me why took so long to install.

If you have hot and cold water, then have to be careful. the system cannot be connected to a hot water line as

the system is not designed to withstand high temperatures. The maximum temperature of feed water tolerable is 38°C. Best a separate tap.

Ikea furniture's assembly rate is 10% of the furniture's price.

On top of that, delivery charges at $55 (for items' value less than $400), $60 (for items' value between $400 and $600) or $65 (for items' value more than $600), and that is only for weekdays delivery (additional $15 for weekend).

On top of that, if you need wall drilling e.g. wall mounting of cabinet/mirrors, etc, it will be $4 per hole for concrete wall and $6 for tiles wall.

If delivery is more than 3 days away, there's storage charge of $20 per day. So plan your purchase and budget carefully.

Hi, can close up pic of the tap? Price and where to buy?

Ikea charging how much to fix up nowadays? 5% of cost price?
