OceanEleven 203 Report post Posted April 29, 2014 After hacking notice a problem. Originally not going to do any false ceiling & Living Room will eat into kitchen size of 1meter.After hacking, found out that the kitchen ceiling wall is lower by around 4 Inch (10cm). Anyone have any suggestion or propose as above ? Seriously, it is not as bad as it seems. It act like a clear segregation between the areas.

Originally not going to do any false ceiling & Living Room will eat into kitchen size of 1meter.After hacking, found out that the kitchen ceiling wall is lower by around 4 Inch (10cm). Some suggestion I got : 1. Do false ceiling for whole of living room and use downlights2. Design a big piece of platform above dinning area (Which is part of where the Living eat into kitchen)3. Few feature Beams. Anyone have any suggestion or propose as above ? Ah SongzIf I were to suggest, I suggest do half false ceiling with Cove lighting, so no need so many down lights. Buy a better grade of strip light, i tell, it will be very cozy and comfy. My 2 cents all give you. LOL
Troublemaker 31 Report post Posted May 1, 2014 Hmm I kind of cannot accept those not uniform look ...That is part of the living room and the door and wall is 1m inside from the beam shown ...Oic. Can't tell from the photos. I thought its the kitchen area.Hmm.. are you able to demarcate that 1m area into something else? To make it look as if you purposely "make" the beam like that?
