The curtain pelmet with all edges finished with aluminium fittings for the perfect finishing. I doubt contractor will do such detailing these days.

I was in BKK shopping! (Actually I was there for 2 day business trip. Skipped lunch and rushed to the biggest DIY Shop BKK)

This place is reno heaven. You can find everything under one roof. CHEAPER THAN SINGAPORE.

My 304 stainless steel purchase.

1x VRH Faucet for my washer

2x VRH Robe hook

2x VRH Basin water trap

4x VRH Toilet spray (2x as spares)

Total: SGD150

Hi Marcel, may you share where is this "reno heaven" in BKK? I remembered I went to a similar Home Depot style mega store in BKK (near one of the MRT stations) but I cannot remember the name already. Thanks! :)

I am referring to Boonthavorn Co., Ltd.

They have a web site so you can go and check it out.

By the way they also sell GROHE (assembled in Thailand).

COMMON BATHROOM

Nice. No more pipes. Made in China tiles but an European finish. (Will give my verdict when I go over this Sat. Has been 5 days I last saw my flat.)

I like to share with all the Reno talkers the stuffs Ihave collected over the years.

Muji Cuckoo Clock

For those who love scandinavian decor. I brought the white one during 2012 X'mas. When Muji came out with the green one last year. I brought the green one too.

No idea. I would suggest you calling Muji so you don't have to waste a trip.

PAINTING

Step 1: Oil based sealer

Step 2: Sand down affected areas

Step 3: Base coat tomorrow

Step 4: ??? (I will only find out tomorrow.)

Step 5: ???

I never knew oil based sealer is required. All along I though we can paint directly on a plastered wall.

Is such a huge difference now.

Edges of tiling areas sealed. Must protect all my chrome, stainless steel, copper...

Soon you don't. (Using calcium silicate board due to possible moisture)

The next step will be 2 coat of paints.
