The Pigeon Hole In Jurong East

Recommended Posts

Just saw your blog and find your floor plan is very similar to mine ~

Congrats on the start of the renovation ^^

Saw your purchase so far and I really impress by it as their outlook match & compliment each other (Except the kitchen hoob - No offense )

Will be looking forward to your house renovation process and final outcome ^^

Song. No worries. I know where you are coming from. Maybe with the right colour it will be less an eye score.

I ordered the same Fujioh hood and I won't have any top cabinets.. It's gonna look even uglier lol

Me too. No top cabinet too. Let's see who will have an uglier kitchen.

Tiles for both bathrooms.

Wall: Semi gloss white porcelain tiles 30 x 60 (Due to the grey floor the white should help to make the bathroom bigger.)
Floor: Grey ceramic tiles 30 x 30 (Dirt will not show.)
Grout: White

Our requirements are SIMPLE & LOW MAINTENANCE. Most of all we don't want go through the hassle.

But frankly I will prefer a little eye sore yet very useful & able to complete the job well ~ :notti:

My ID got a shock when I told him I already ordered that hood.. Kept asking me if I'm very sure abt my choice and to be prepared for the shock LOL!

But like what Songz said, I'd rather have a useful hood for my heavy cooking than one which only looks gd but doesn't do its job well. If it's just light cooking or we don't cook, I'll be more than glad to do without a hood!

Nice setup ,with the right color and placing the hoob will fit in nicely with the design ^^

Only thing I don like about this is that the fridge is beside washing machine and dryer ... LoL ~

Hi Marcel. I just bought a 3NG, and will be collecting keys early Feb.

I'm really looking forward to your reno, as many of my ideas are similar to yours. I'm just relieved I first get to see how some of these ideas turn out at your place.. (I hope you wouldn't mind feeling like a guinea pig.. lol..)

1. My kitchen will be topless too, but looking at sleeker looking chimney hoods.

2. HERF floor other than for kitchen. Having to re-irrigate sewage for sink, washing machine, and the basin, I think it may be just as cheap to hack and retile the kitchen (with a peace of mind).

3. I have bought most of my furniture too, but not with any central theme coordinated. I'm starting to regret some of the purchases.

I look forward to chatting more in due course.

Will also be setting up my t blog soon too.

Let's share more ideas ya.

Enjoy your Reno journey.

KK.

Tks for the pic marcel! This belongs to one of the Renotalkers too! I remember asking him/her for a review of the hood and Citygas dryer. Was trying to look for the t-blog but can't remember the title. Now I can show this pic to my ID and say... "See? Not so bad what!" LOL

***Advise***

Would any of you consider using a bamboo toilet seat cover for a dry bathroom.
