brascal 0 Report post Posted December 6, 2013 What is the norm nowadays? Does one simply replace the entire fan or repairs it? Any recommended repairers?K
HanTu 0 Report post Posted December 24, 2013 Since young, each of my ceiling fan slows down after using it a couple of years and we bought a new ceiling fan each time.Until I learn something from here. When you ceiling fan starts to slow down, it is actually the capacitor and you just have to change the capacitor. You can ask the electrician to do this. Also, if you want to replace the fan, the most recommended brand here is KDK. Cost around $200-600 depending on how high end you want.
