dreamlove 0 Report post Posted November 30, 2013 Hi folksA person suggested that I get the contractor instead if I know what I want to do up in my new house. I am wondering if it is possible to apply for renovation loan if I am not using any ID and only get the contractors for certain works? Thanks

JZX100 0 Report post Posted February 17, 2014 Dig up this thread as I have some questions on contractor. My scenario is the same as TS. Me and my wife decided to use contractor as MIL knows a carpenter who can help us do up carpentry works. So, now the problem, do we still qualify for the home loan ? If don't qualify, how to settle the bills for contractor ? Use personal loan instead ?
