Will Leather Peel?

2 months ago, I got my sofa set from xxx. however, after a month, the leather started peeling. I am trying to research if real leather will peel? My impression is that leather will crack but will not peel. Those that peel, are faux leather, or artificial leather. My wife and I are still trying to resolve the matter with that company and hence will not share their name in this forum just yet.

Genuine leather will only crack after 4-5 years. Those that peel are PU leather which we normally seen in guys office shoes.

You should claim for refund or replacement, seem to be poor workmanship.

Genuine leather will peel only if it is defective. If it is 2 months old it will be covered under the lemon law. The seller is obliged to repair, replace or refund.

Assume no defects

Real leather cracked after few years ...my sofa is one example ...and I bought it for 7k in year 2005 and still using it now. I only send for cleaning maintenance , etc twice a year

Which sofa set company did u get it from ? We are not lover (remembered those courtship days with your spouse) and we do not wish get involve in guessing game !
