James N Joean 8 Report post Posted November 5, 2013 Hi PTopaz,Definitely try to level the floor as much as possible. I have a tiny regret of not doing that in order to save cost. After laying HERF, ended up with slightly uneven portions I can feel when walking on - particularly kitchen area.Actually it's very minor because most of people who walk in my place can't tell. Only when I point it out to them.So it's more of my own obsession. HehWas ur floor screeded by hdb? Shld get them to level it for u... I do notise the difference in height but maybe the contractor can level it later should I decide to laminate wood/vinyl or paint or even lay tiles on it. Another thing to worry is that it will be higher than the room floor.That's what I meant... I believe now u living room floor is leveled with the bedroom...
