enci 1 Report post Posted May 19, 2007 Mr Chong, hope that u r only doing these DOB cum altar positions for folks chinese believers n taoists ... I see a need to clarify the Buddhist stand, esp when many fengshui masters get Buddhas and boddhisattvas involved in such placements, dob, positioning practises ... I have no objections if u r doing from a non buddhist view and does not get buddhist icons into it , cos Buddha and boddhisattva statues are not "lucky charms or figurines that will affect one's health, success etc etc ... LGG 0 Report post Posted January 20, 2008 Hi Mr ChongI have a few qns to pose for placement of altarWe heard that altar table has to be place in such a way such that the god can see the sky? Is this true? If so, can you help to enlighten me on the following: If we were to place our altar table in living room such that the god can only see the sky when our master bedroom door is open (master bedroom door is closed only during sleeping hours), is this considered a suitable position to place the altar table? If we were to erect an altar table upon opening our main door and however when we look out of the main door it is facing a wall is that ok?Lastly, if we are interested to engage you to come to our new house 4-room for consultation, how much will you charge or can Mr Chong do for us on goodwill basis?Thank you very much for your replies in advance? Naturally without any inspection, your gods altar table is preferred to be placed in a bright place.....that why some people use sky instead.Generally there are 2 ways to place altar table. If for family, check with the house FS. If its personal, check from your date of birth.Lastly, if we are interested to engage you to come to our new house 4-room for consultation, how much will you charge or can Mr Chong do for us on goodwill basis? No, I don't solicit business here. You can put up floor plan like the rest and I'll help you here.
