What are the HDB restrictions?

No changing of windows within first 3 years of a new flat?

No hacking of kitchen and toilet tiles within first 3 years?

No false ceiling for kitchen and toilet?

No 2 pin friendly electrical outlets?

why so many dumb rules.... ...

anyone knows how they enfroce these?

do they send people to spotcheck during the renovation or do they only do random spotcheck?

i have no idea... there are much more stupid rules that don't apply to private housing but apply to hdb...

No changing of windows within first 3 years of a new flat?- I would not know, but I guess no one would change the windows for the first 3 years right? Basically, they do not want to change the outlook of the flat.

No hacking of kitchen and toilet tiles within first 3 years?- that is to ensure no damage to the water proofing, but they have allowed over laying means the option has given.

No false ceiling for kitchen and toilet?- Well, no encourage to have it because they do not want to responsible for recovery your false ceiling when there is a need to service water seepage down the road.

No 2 pin friendly electrical outlets?- Well, there are some china brand that carry a 2 pin cover over the 3pins.
