tikiman 0 Report post Posted November 10, 2013 Wow your bottom cabinet looks real nice! What laminate is that?! thanks. the laminate was from Arova. cannot remember the exact name, but it is in the online catalogue. I will strongly recommend anyone who is interested should go down to their warehouse and look at the whole piece.I have to thanks Vanessa who introduce me to this laminate company Her t-blog link http://www.renotalk.com/forum/topic/58122-our-new-home-executive-maisonette/very clean look. I like thanks. Instead of matching the color of the laminate for the edges, I used a bronze finish to give the whole cabinet an outline. Not so visible on the photo, but it does make a subtle difference.

tikiman 0 Report post Posted November 17, 2013 Moved in on Thur, and both Tikimum & I were arranging and packing our things. There are still so much to do, but now the place is more livable. Today we sent our beloved chairs to have the rattan replaced @ Chun Mee Lee Rattan Furniture. I got to know this place cause my contractor saw them on a TV show recently aired. Maeryn 0 Report post Posted December 7, 2014 we are using a dark grey homogenous tile with a raw granite look. ( anti-slip too). This tile will also be used in the yard and as a border for the peranakan design.while shopping for our bathroom fittings at SSC, we chance upon floor trap made of faux stone.@ $75/set, the price is over the moon. My contractor said a plastic one cost $4 and a stainless steel is less than $15. Being the down to earth person he usually is, he ask me if I really need this to cover the drain holes with it. He said if I buy it, he will install and bring his other clients to see . We were not prepared to pay for the most expensive tile in the house. Few days later, went to Geylang to see other bathroom stores. We chance upon another type of floor trap with a tile insert at Heritage. It allow is to have a seamless floor look. Damage $28/set.Hi, may I know if you tile insert floor trap is 15cm X 15cm or 10cm x 10cm? Thanks!
