Contract Before 3D Design

Hi all,

Do IDs and contractors expect us to contract before proceeding with the 3D designs? If so, how would i know what i'm signing up for? They seemed to be concerned with only the general layout and specs. But the themes and look of the fittings are the most important...

Most of them would because they outsource the 3D drawings and it costs them money.

Unless your ID / contractor is very sure that you will sign with them, it's quite unlikely they will draw for you before signing.

I got my drawing before signing but that's because he was quite sure I was going to sign up with him.
