Aron Putt, Strongly Recommended

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

I registered this account just to recommend Mr. Aron Putt's service.

Found him two years back also from renotalk after digesting mountains of data and sent him an inquiry. HIs response was quick and he was patient enough to answer my long list of questions in rounds of conversations. I then bought a Panasonic Inverter 3 from him, in May 2010.

Everything was fine until a couple of days ago when a general service found that the drainage pipe was not properly connected to the outlet that caused a leakage of water in the trunking and a direct flow of water onto the aircon ledge. To fix it the contractor quoted $xx. Moreover they also suggested a top-up of gas for $1xx.

Afraid I might be chopped like a carrot, I tried contacting Aron. His reply was quick as two years ago, in which he told me he's moved on to another company and suggested me to call the installer who did the work and would be most familiar with the work. It was quite annoying that the installer wanted to charge me $80+ for a site survey, claiming it's out of warranty, even though it's highly probable that it's a poor workmanship problem. I then conveyed the message to Aron, stating that I'd to find another contractor to check it out. To my surprise Aron volunteered to send his installation team over to take a look, for free so that I don't feel like being held ransom.

The team, led by Mr. Ah Boon, came during dinner time yesterday. He quickly identified the problem and started to work on it when I asked how much it would cost. To my surprise, again, he said it's just a minor work and he can do it for free! His team was productive enough to get the work done 10 minutes. He then helped me take a reading on the gas pressure. To my surprise, yet again, he said the level was fine and no top-up is needed!

I am so impressed by Aron and his team. He is trustworthy, taking the extra mile to clean up the mess for his former employer which makes me feel like I've got a warranty for life long. I've therefore registered this account to convey my gratitude here and to let more fellow forumers know about Aron and his quality service. And be careful, guys, there are always contractors out there waiting every minute for a chance to chop chop chop you like a carrot!

happy renovating!

MSG him but never reply or call back.

Rather get from big players like gaincity. At least they are contactable if my aircon system is down.

Hi TwinHills,

Sorry to borrow your topic... but I have to say I totally agree with you of Aron and Ah Boon working attitude :good: Especially Ah Boon.

I have recently engage them to help me on a Mitsubushi Inventor System 4 and with a very short notice to helps to remove my old aircon for my contractor to do whole house plastering. Even with Ah boon busy schedule, really make an effort to come over at 4pm to help me remove all my old trucking and aircon unit. This is something that those big player will never be able to meet.

Understand that I have a very tight renovation schedule, Ah Boon has once again agree to help me to schedule a trip this Thursday afternoon to install piping and run trucking so that my contracter can start the painting work on Friday.... I really appreciate his help.

As I am very busy recently with work recently and has yet to have the time to start my t-blog to Thanks group of contractors that so far helps me meeting my tight renovation schedule, but when I come across this topic, I am in total agreement twinhills comments of Aron and Ah boon company...

Once again...Thanks bro Aron and Ah Boon.... :thumbs up:

Good service from salesman is one thing, the material used and responsibility of the company is another.

I do agree with friendliness of Aron when I bought my aircon with him from Imperial 2years ago. Now he has left the company. The power cable of my aircon snapped, and I have to replace them at such a high cost, just less than 3 years old only. So apart from the salesman, I suggest everyone better check the company background and also inspect all the material they used properly before committing in a deal.

i do agree big players are easy to contact but try googling installations done by big players in singapore and u will find big players' installing and within 5 days having major leaks in the whole house/ aircon no gas/ trunking starts to open up/ pipes inside trunking burst/ usage of cheap material and the exorbitant prices for quality materials and so on. IIf i have a problem i simply drop aron an email or ahboon a text and i will get a reply within a day or max two. Aron and his team installed my aircon a few months ago, and about a month ago my neighbour complained my aircon was leaking alot. I informed ah boon, and he came down within a few days. There was no problem with my aircon plus they even poured water though the pipes to test and absolutely no leak. We then found out it was hdb roof water tank which was leaking and they did not even charge me for the trip. Ah boon even got his team to do a free general maintenance since they were already there! I am in no way related to aron or ah boon, but this is the kind of after services which makes customers really happy and choose them again.
