Yes, 1 coat only. But condition before varnishing was already good.

Mine is storage kind but the board above that holds the mattress overlaps it. Take picture and show you again.

Also, why no good to have split for couple? Will split up?

Actually I also heard that it is better for bed to have legs, good for 'qi' to circulate beneath. But now the homes are so small, have to utilise all space.

I don't really like the idea of storing luggage under bed, in case go overseas and accidentally bring back bedbugs. Eeeekk.

I attended a class but the master said no legs better loh. He said that resting place should not have too much qi circulationzzzzzz.
