Nice furniture pieces.

It was a great challenge for my husband & myself to search for furniture with 3 monsters along, haha.

Oic... Thanks for your reply! Btw, really nice furniture! Am loving all the wood grains!

Thx alot, i took the advice from renotalk postings and went around searching rather than doing buit-in

Yes, they are. The first few were from "The originals" but later did i realised that Ethnicrafts were the suppliers.

Its getting exciting to see progress daily. With all tiles and walls being hacked. Restoration for new walls have begun. Almost all new windows are up except the balcony area. Hoping to see my tiles delivered soon for tiling works to start :notti:

Kitchen wall tiling, the little entrance to the back in the centre is to the storeroom. While the yet to be tiled up part would be the smaller size study room with the entrance marked with no brick walls in between

slightly better view here for the entrance to the store

The storeroom. Not really very big but at least better than none to put all the junks here away from view.

Masterbedroom toilet extended over to the common bathroom

To the left of the master toilet, cement filled after all the hacking

Good to know! The similarity never registered in my mind.

Hi, we are planning to use roller shutters too. May I know which company you engaged for them? And how much you paid for it? :)

Hi Ferddy03,

Initially i wanted to use Paul Aluminium as this is the only one i can google and find. But seems like my contractor can get someone to come down and do a measurement and quote. So maybe i will let you know thereafter.

Tiling is going fast ever since toilets are done. electric wiring has also started. Heard from ID that measurement of glassworks was also done today. however, still no news of parquet laying for upper floor yet. All tiles have been finalised including the mosaic tiles for the backsplash. Selected 3 different colours to do mixing and matching on tuesday, keeping fingers crossed that end result will look good.

Ok, its been awhile since I last posted. Alot have been done throughout but progress is not that fast anyway.

- Conduit was laid underneath the floor tiles for the opennet cable to go straight through to the TV area.

- Floor tiles are all done including skirting (very good job actually)

- Windows are installed except lower kitchen toilet as I need to box up some water piping before the measurement can be taken

- Water storage heaters are installed. Rheem brand was used (not really sure its reliability as I was not consulted prior to installation. Quite pissed on this actually :curse: but I just bear with it. Initially, they tried ot install 10gallons (38litre) for both upper and lower floor. However, after going back to complain that i do not need such huge amount for downstairs, it was changed. The placing of the heater was also redone as they initially installed above my upper floor common bath which makes the whole space looks quite low and ugly. Thereafter, it was taken down and shift out to the bathroom entrance area

- Electrical wirings are all done except some minor changes with the switches model selected.

- Aircon piping were run and installed too. Waiting for final installation. This is one of the huge headache of running the pipings. Good thing is false ceiling will be use to conceal them.

- Rain shutter was installed yesterday. Still ok, though i have not tested it myself

- Last but not least, they are currently doing the parquet floorings for the upper floors and staircase. Once all done and varnished (3 days cannot work for the upper level)

Pictures time.
